Nah, the way Vanitas put Sora and Ven in their place and leave them just kinda dumbfounded was great. But the fact that Vanitas in particular wan't meant to exist, suddenly that does mean that he in particular shouldn't even exist, using logic he no longer uses for Roxas/Naminé and all them, just because he's evil, he shouldn't even exist at all when Sora's expressing more sympathy for other villains he defeats, like Luxord, Marluxia, Larxene and all them, but Vanitas, nah, he just has to get back inside Ven's heart and the circumstances of his birth suddenly matter?
But Sora still wants them to exist, even though their Nobodies and shouldn't, but Sora got all attached to them and found that they were their own people and that they do deserve to exist regardless of the reasons behind their birth and their being nobodies.
And Vanitas is all like 'yeah, but it still happened and I chose who I was, and I thought you were all about that choice stuff.' Because it's true: people like Roxas and Naminé didn't choose to exist and were ripped away from Sora/Kairi in the first place and only even exist in the first place because stuff happened against their will.
Like, after he's defeated, Sora and Ven are all like 'we didn't choose to be separated all neat and clean' so become part of Ven again, yo.
